What is insights.XO?

The Monitoring and Analytics module is based on Elasticsearch and enables organizations to watch the current and past status of their IT infrastructure. Although we deeply integrate the Elasticsearch backend into our solution customers are still able to access a dedicated instance to create dashboards on their own.

We provide Elasticsearch based on Open Distro for Elasticsearch.

Let´s have a closer look on the components that er delivered with insights.XO.

Elasticsearch is a distributed, RESTful search and analytics engine capable of addressing a growing number of use cases. As the heart of the Elastic Stack, it centrally stores your data for lightning fast search, fine‑tuned relevancy, and powerful analytics that scale with ease.

Currently we are running Elasticsearch 7.9.1 in our backend. Updated versions will be made available automatically after thorough testing from our side.

Kibana is a free and open user interface that lets you visualize your Elasticsearch data and navigate the Elastic Stack. Do anything from tracking query load to understanding the way requests flow through your apps. Login to insights.XO works with your existing infra.XO login credentials and supports also MFA if you configured it in your account settings.

We provide a basic set of dashboards that you can use inside infra.XO and your dedicated Kibana instance.

Kibana enables you to create numerous additional types of dashboards:

  • histograms
  • line graphs
  • pie charts
  • sunburst
  • location analysis
  • time series
  • machine learning
  • graphs and many more…

Beats Agents

Beats is a free and open platform for single-purpose data shippers. They send data from hundreds or thousands of machines and systems to Logstash or Elasticsearch. You can write your own Beats agents or use community created ones.

We provide PSADT based installation packages for Windows operating systems for most of the agents below.

Use Cases

  • User Experience Monitoring
  • Security analytics
  • Hardware monitoring
  • VM monitoring
  • Event correlation

Why should I use a hosted monitoring and analytics solution?

We know how hard it is to implement integrated and complex solutions that fit into your environment. All of our modules are created to be used completely stand-alone or in combination with our existing modules or your already available infrastructures. Concentrate on the important parts of your IT stack and let us do the rest.
