The Builders area shows created Builders.
Builders are responsible for creating machines and generating images for various platforms.
The easiest explanation for them is: They define the region and the configuration (CPU and RAM) of the VM that will be used to create the Image.
Change the type for the provider of your choice. AWS or Azure.
The Builders table view shows the following columns.
This is the name of the Builder you specify during creation.
This is the Connection that is used to create the Image. The Connection is configured in the Settings area.
The date of the creation of the Builder
The description that is saved with the Builder.
This is the region where the Image is created.
The instance type that is used to create the Image.
Currently image.XO supports the creation of images on AWS for the following operating systems:
- Windows Server 2016
- Windows Server 2019
- Windows Server 2022
- Ubuntu Server 16.04
- Ubuntu Server 18.04
- CentOS 6
- CentOS 7
Additionally on Azure Windows 10 and 11 Multi-Session.
To add a new Builder click on the Add Builder button in the upper left corner.
